One's life is made of events. Events in themselves aren't good nor bad, they just are. From one's point of view, however, they seem good nor bad depending on our expectations, illusions and desires.

So 2012 is here and I can't decide whether this is the day the LOLcats died or if we live in a Wonderful World...
On one hand, everything's OK for the moment, the weather is unusually good for winter (mostly sunny everyday!) and the human being is capable of the most remarkable things.
On the other hand, things are looking pretty grim for the future, politicians stink, commercial interests rape world economy and the human being is capable of the most hedious acts.

So 2012 will be good or bad depending on what I choose to focus on. And right this instant, the sun is shining outside, my's dad's birthday is tomorrow and I'm sleeping over tonight...  life's indeed beautiful.
